Tim came to Eagles over 17 years ago, when his son was just 6 years old and beginning to play. He joined the board 9 years ago and has sat in the president’s seat since 2018. He has a personal love for the game.
As president, Tim plays a critical role in shaping the culture and direction of the club. He is a firm believer in rolling up his sleeves and getting involved when change is needed and is well known for simply getting things done.
This is demonstrated by a number of accomplishments such as, but not limited to, recruiting new venues to accommodate the tremendous growth of the domestic league, from 3 courts to 9 courts, and subsequently assembling a committee and successfully petitioning the City of Bayswater for more courts at Morley Sport and Recreation Centre. He has also rolled out new uniforms to align the junior league uniform with the NBL1 uniform, and made Eagles the first WA club to create an indigenous round specific uniform.
If he’s not involved in basketball or out camping, Tim can be found networking and has a strength in recruiting the right team of people to realise his club vision. He holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership and Organisational Change. The clubs growth and positive net profit result year on year is a testament to his business acumen.
